Jimmy Cricket’s recent expedition to the Costa Blanca in Spain involved a second show after his earlier performance at the Emerald Isle.

This time Jimmy’s location was the Matrix Studio Madhouse (above) in Orihuela, a facility run by Carla and Mark Farrow who use it not only to present shows, but also for dance lessons.

Carla and Mike Matrix run the Madhouse Dance Studio in Orihuela, but are also talented performers in their own right

However, Carla is not just the owner of a studio and a dance teacher – she is a fabulous female vocalist who specialises as a Bette Midler tribute, while Mark is an excellent guitarist (both are pictured above on stage).

Bette Midler is an American singer, songwriter, actress, comedian, and film producer.

Carla also presents a morning show on the local Sunshine FM radio station – an English-speaking channel for the British ex-pat community who live in that region of Spain.

Veteran comedian Jimmy enjoyed meeting both Carla and Mark (above) and his appearance alongside them both was warmly received by the audience for that evening’s show at the Madhouse.

A special note of thanks must also be given to Simon Morton from Sunshine FM, as he arranged for Jimmy, 70, to make this trip over to Spain to appear at both the Emerald Isle and the Matrix Studio Madhouse.

Jimmy Cricket embarked on another trip to the south-west coast of Spain recently to entertain the local British ex-pat community living there.

It was the veteran comic’s third visit to the region in less than a year, as he is proving popular among audiences who now live in or who have retired to the Costa Blanca, and remember him from his many TV appearances in the 1980s.

His most recent trip to the Alicante area kicked off with a show at the Emerald Isle in the La Florida complex in Orihuela.

Jimmy was joined on stage by the night’s host – Spanish-based British entertainer Stevie Spit – and was fabulously supported by the female vocalist Kylie Burgazzi (all are pictured above).

The show at the Emerald Isle was a sellout with a waiting list created for cancellations! Credit for making the evening happen must be extended to Paul Moran, the owner of the Emerald Isle (and pictured below with Jimmy).

As the night went so well, Paul has already asked Jimmy to consider making a return to the Emerald Isle during June 2017!

Veteran comedian Jimmy Cricket is going international during the remainder of 2016.

Jimmy, 70, has plans to entertain in Spain during June, in Cyprus through September and in the Republic of Ireland in November.

His trip to the Costa Blanca during the first week of June involves appearances at The Emerald Isle and the Madhouse, both located in the Orihuela district of the Alicante region.

For more information on Jimmy’s appearances there, go to https://www.facebook.com/emeraldislelf and https://www.facebook.com/pages/Matrix-Madhouse/399223050228664

Then in September, Rochdale-based Jimmy will team up with Richard & Adam – who both featured in the 2013 series of Britain’s Got Talent – to tour some of the wonderful venues located in and around the lovely Mediterranean island of Cyprus.

The famous entertainer’s visit includes an appearance at the Pissouri Amphitheatre (pictured above) in the Limassol region of the island. For tickets to all of these Cypriot shows, please visit http://www.lyceumproductions.eu/

Jimmy will travel to County Donegal in the Republic of Ireland towards the backend of the year.

On Saturday 5 November, he will bring his stand-up comedy show to the Balor Arts Centre in Ballybofey.  He was last there eight years ago in the old venue, which has since been replaced by a brand new facility.

Belfast-born Jimmy is looking forward to returning to the venue as last time it was a full house! For tickets, please visit http://www.balorartscentre.finntech.ie/
