Blackpool always offers plenty of variety whatever the weather, says famous funnyman Jimmy Cricket.
The Northern Irish comedian performed at the Lyndene Hotel in the busy seaside resort on Wednesday (2 August) for the second time this summer.
He said on social media: “Back tonight folks, at the popular @LyndeneHotel, Blackpool.
“What a great Lancashire resort, where there is always somewhere to go and a show to see if we have inclement summer weather! #lotsofvariety.”
Jimmy is now in his EIGHTH season performing at the Lyndene.
Rochdale-based Jimmy has dubbed the Lyndene as his “second home” as he has made so many appearances at the hotel over several years.
Entertainers do two separate shows – one in each of the two Lyndene lounges – every night.
Trivia: The hotel appeared as Le Ponderosa in the second series of Peter Kay’s TV hit comedy Phoenix Nights.
