Jimmy Cricket is visiting one of the biggest shopping centres in the country to promote his new charity Christmas CD.
The ever-popular entertainer, 71, will be at the Intu Trafford Centre on the outskirts of Manchester from 11.30am until 3pm on Saturday 19 November.
He is due to appear on stage within the Orient Quadrant of the shopping centre at noon, 1pm and 2pm to perform a couple of tracks from the CD, entitled Santa bring my wellies back to me, and to get everyone into the festive mood.
There will also be a couple of surprises as Jimmy will be joined on stage by other singers who also participated in the recording of the CD.
Supporting Jimmy will be the team from the Francis House Children’s Hospice in south Manchester who will set up a stall for the day from where they will not just sell copies of Jimmy’s CD, but will also be on hand to answer any questions about the wonderful work the staff do at the charity for the very sick children they care for.
Jimmy said: “I am looking forward to the visit as it is one of the highlights of my promotional tour for this CD.”
* The new charity Christmas CD is available to buy from this website through a PayPal facility or in person directly from the hospice.
