St Patrick’s Day date at popular Blackpool hotel
Proud Irishman Jimmy Cricket is headlining at the popular Lyndene Hotel in Blackpool on St Patrick’s Day.
The ever-green Northern Irish entertainer appears there on Tuesday 17 March – one of 23 visits he is making to the hotel in 2020.
Ryan Ireland, the Irish Rover, will also be performing on St Patrick’s Day at the Lyndene.
St Patrick, who was a Christian missionary and bishop in the fifth century, is the primary patron saint of Ireland.
Jimmy will do be doing shows twice a month at the Lyndene between now and the end of the year.
This is 74-year-old Jimmy’s FIFTH season at the distinctive-looking hotel.
Two or three acts usually perform twice per night, once each in different lounges.
The hotel, perched on the seafront, is one of Blackpool’s unique venues as it welcomes tourists and visitors all year round.
Its website says that it offers more than 141 fully equipped and tastefully decorated en suite bedrooms.
“The Lyndene Hotel offers superb compered entertainment EVERY NIGHT of the year,” it adds.
