Snooker legend has dinner with a Cricket legend
Jimmy Cricket had dinner with a former snooker star during his latest trip to Spain.
The famous funnyman and his wife May – also a professional entertainer – enjoyed a meal with some friends, including Willie Thorne.
Willie (left on the top photo) is a former English professional snooker player and ex-BBC, ITV and Sky Sports commentator.
Jimmy tweeted: “Our thanks to Andy and all the team at Mumbai Blue Indian Restaurant for a wonderful meal last night while catching up with old friends, snooker’s legendary @TheWillieThorne alongside singer/comic @steviespit and @eileengleave alias Nanny McPhee.”
Rochdale-born Eileen Greave, who is a charity fundraiser, said: “Absolute fantastic night at the Emerald Isle.
“Jimmy cricket , Stevie spit BEM And for their first show never forget you smashed it boys ???????????? not forgetting the one and only Nikki G ????????????.”
Popular Northern Irishman comedian Jimmy has just completed three shows on the Spanish mainland.
He first performed at the Coopers Arms in Ciudad Quesada near Alicante on Tuesday (25 February).
On Wednesday (26 February), Jimmy did a show at the Emerald Isle in the La Florida complex in Orihuela.
The last date on his latest visit was on Friday (28 February) at Hotel Marina in Alicante.
With a growing ex-pat market within the Alicante and Benidorm regions, Jimmy has done shows regularly in Spain.
