‘Always a good night when Mr Cricket’s on’

'Always a good night when Mr Cricket's on, supported by Mrs Cricket, comedy Legend Jimmy'
Jimmy Cricket rounded off a busy March with a well-received show in Lancashire.
The event, which took place at St Mary’s Community Centre in Leyland on Saturday, raised funds for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Jimmy’s wife, whose stage name is May Marion, provided the music.

Barry John Liptrot said: “Always a good night when Mr Cricket’s on, supported by Mrs Cricket.

“Comedy Legend Jimmy 👏 a great night had by everyone 👍Fantastic 😀.”

The popular veteran comedian performed at six events in just 22 days last month.

His hectic schedule began at his favourite Blackpool hotel, the Lyndene Hotel, on 5 March.

Then, on Tuesday 11 March, the Northern Irish funnyman hosted the long-running charity JAM night in his adopted hometown of Rochdale.

Three days later, he was at the Hollywood Comedy Club in Birmingham, before rounding off a hectic week back in Blackpool in Sunday Night at the Grand (16 March – St Patrick’s Day eve).

And after that he headed off down south for the two-day Talking Pictures TV and Renown Pictures Festival of Film in St Albans, Hertfordshire (22 and 23 March).

Saturday’s event at St Mary’s was the perfect end to a busy few weeks!
