Jimmy Cricket is to return to Blackpool’s Lyndene Hotel in 2017.
Over the past few months the 70-year-old entertainer has been in residency at the Lyndene, one of the Lancashire coastal resort’s premier hotels which is situated on the seafront.
His spring season at the Lyndene has seen him visit the venue weekly from the beginning of January right through to the end of May.
This has amounted to 32 trips to Blackpool from his home in Rochdale for Jimmy, who has headlined the entertainment programme on each occasion. For each of his shows, he has also been ably supported by some of the most talented performers based across the north west of England.
Over the course of the season, Jimmy has been well received by all who have attended his shows at the Lyndene Hotel – so much so the hotel management have asked to return in 2017.
Jimmy said: “Because I have enjoyed my time at the Lyndene Hotel so much – from the warmth of the audiences to the welcoming nature of the hotel staff – I have jumped at the chance to return to there next year.”
