Winter shows in sunny Spain back on the schedule
Jimmy Cricket embarks on a mini-tour in Spain later this week for the first time in a few years.
The Northern Irish comedian has in the past annually jetted across to the continent for several days during the winter.
There is a sizeable demand for his unique brand of comedy due to a growing ex-pat market in the Alicante and Benidorm regions.
Restrictions imposed by Covid-19 meant that Jimmy had not been able to do those Spain shows since 2020.
His latest visit begins on Wednesday (22 February) at the Emerald Isle in the La Florida complex, Orihuela, in the province of Alicante.
The famous funnyman then performs at the Coopers Arms in Ciudad Quesada on Friday.
His next stage appearance is the following day at the Hotel Don Pancho in Benidorm.
And Jimmy completes his hectic tour of four shows in five days at the Mazarron Country Club on Sunday.
The club is a complex of holiday homes located on the Costa Calida.
According to the BBC website, the weather in the area of Spain where Jimmy is performing is sunny for most of the next seven days.
