Chippenham show: Invite to local choirs & dancers
Legendary entertainer Jimmy Cricket will be appearing in an historic market town in Wiltshire this summer – and is inviting local choirs and dance schools to join him on stage.
Jimmy, 71, has long believed that as a family act it’s important to make it affordable for families to actually come to shows.
So once a month, on a Sunday afternoon, Jimmy takes his Great Value for a Tenner show to a theatre. On 4 June, his chosen theatre will be the Neeld Community and Arts Centre in Chippenham.
He is making a special visit to Chippenham on his way home to Rochdale from performances on the Isle of Wight.
The show will consist of Jimmy, his wife May Marion – who is a female vocalist – and a local dance school or choir – or both.
If any dance schools or choirs would like to perform in the show, please ring Geoff Endacott on 01249 654417 or email endacott@absw.org.uk
Tickets are now on sale at the Neeld Box Office at neeld.co.uk or on 01249 446699.
