You know folks, there is an incredible amount of new talent out there and as I go around I am so pleased to see these lovely people and I’d like to use this page to bring some of them to your attention. So.... if you get the opportunity... do try and get to see these up and coming acts..... I promise you.... you will have a whale of a time.....

C’mere everyone and listen into who I think will a tip for the top! This time I put the spotlight on my daughter, Katie, who is trying to break into comedy writing/ stand up.

A bit of a chip off the old block you may say, but I am biased and I do think she has great potential. Actually her talent is recognised on an academic front. This is because currently she is studying for a Masters in creative writing at the University of Salford. I have also heard that here tutors are really impressed with her work and they also think that she could make a serious go at this as a career.

So best of luck to her and keep watching out for her!
