	For a long time, Jimmy was inspired fascinated by the story of James Magennis, the last man from Northern Ireland to be awarded the Victoria Cross. Jimmy was inspired to write a musical about this amazing man, Jimmy is indebted to George Fleming for his cooperation. George wrote the book, Magennis VC,

......Jimmy goes back to Clacton for Summer '10, This year's Pantomime is Aladdin at the Doncaster Civic Theatre, and he will be at the Hawth Theatre, Crawley, on 20th March

Jimmy has recorded a number of tracks which you can download and play. In this half hour version Jimmy narrates through the eyes of Jim’s Older brother Bill who preceded him into the navy and whose letters home inspired Jim to head off to sea himself.

Jimmy is ably assisted by his daughter Jamie playing Jim’s mother and wife, David Glyn Whitbread playing Jim himself and the St Patrick’s school Choir, Rochdale with their musical director Monica Valjack. Enjoy!
