We came to see you in the Pantomime in Lichfield and we thought you were excellent! Mummy also bought me your cd and I was able to continue to enjoy the experience. We sat on the very front row and I nearly touched you when you told us to lean forward! Mummy also saw you in Ask Restaurant when whe was out with some of the mothers from my school. She thought the white chocolate cheesecake was out of this world. What did you think? She was very happy to meet your family also. I can't wait to see you again.

I am not long home and I am ready for my bed but I did not feel I could go to bed without just dropping you a quick e mail to say a very big thank you for such a great nights entertainment. It was lovely to see so many poeple enjoying themselves and if the truth be known some in the club tonight are not in the best of health, but I think they felt they had had a good tonic after listening to you. I can't thank you enough Jimmy and also please thank your dear lady wife for me.

I do not have an exact figure at the moment of how much we raised but I can tell you I have counted the notes and I have just over £1000. I am so delighted as it means that we could have raised enough to pay for three people next year,

Well I will close for the moment Jimmy (As I am tired)but will drop you an e mail in the next few days when I have a final total. Once again many thanks for a wonderful night at the DOM'S.

Just to say how much we have enjoyed both programmes at the Westcliff Theatre this summer - you will doubtless remember me as Sue's friend (60th birthday treat) on 19th August and then last Saturday night (26th) with my party of 30. They really have been excellent shows and I was so pleased to see the return to 'the good old days' with such good audiences. I speak on good authority having seen both programmes for the past 28 years!!!

You had all my party in fits of laughter - what a tonic! (even better than with the gin methinks!) especially outstanding being the sketch with the tennis balls!!!!

Well done indeed.

We went to your Clacton show, last night July 27th, as part of my wife's birthday treat for the 25th. She was very apprehensive, having never been to a live show before, and thought our young daughters might have bee bored!

However my faith in you was rewarded and we left the theatre all smiles. We all loved the show and the only upset was that my daughters couldn't get to your Birthday Book. Charlotte will be 10 on October 25th, and Becky will be 7 on March 28th.

Keep up the good work and "keep smiling".

Doubt you will remember but on 2nd Jan my family all came to see the panto at Weston. We all went for my 4 year old niece because it was cinderella and just happened to be my birthday too. You came into the pub after and signed the childrens programmes and then sang happy birthday to me and gave me a smacker of a kiss and it made my day. Just wanted to say thanky ou so much for taking the time to chat and we all think you are such a lovely man. My name is Wendy if you remember at all and I would love to hear back from you.

I would just like to say how very much we enjoyed last night's Panto (Sunday 1st Jan).

My wife and our 4 1/2 year old daughter Amber found the show very entertaining, yourself and the Jay brothers were exceptional.

As for the CD little one hasn't stopped playing it and as I write this email we are already on about the 20th repeat of Paddy's Pigeon!!!!!

We were at Las Palmas Airport recently in the queue to check in. My mother and aunt (both in their seventies) were asked to join another queue by one of the staff. A Spanish gentleman got very annoyed at this and they felt quite upset about it. They and I remembered a very pleasant man trying to calm him down and be reasonable with him. We realised afterwards that it was you!

We wanted to thank you very much, in fact my mother and aunt were going to approach you on the plane but did not want to "invade your space".

cheered them up enormously as they were quite worried and upset at the time.

My son Gavin, his friend Collin and my wife have just returned home after seeing you at the Rothes Halls, Glenrothes. I didn't have to ask if the show was good their faces told me the story. As you would have realised when you met Gavin and Colin they have learning difficulties and the fact that you took so much care to meet and greet them after the show made their day.

Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for a great night at Hawkers Club in Farnworth on Friday. I haven't laughed as much as I did on Friday in a very long time and it made a refreshing change to experience such great comedy without the smut and bad language that many others resort to. I thought you were hilarious! Seeing you live took me back to the days when I used to watch you on TV as a young girl and you were just as funny then as you are now.

My wife and I have just returned home after a short break at Warners Hotel in Alvaston Hall in Cheshire. 

While there, we had the pleasure of being entertained by yourself for an hour and a half of fun and laughter. What is most gratifying is that you kept your audience doubled up with mirth without once resorting to sex, innuendo or gutter language. 

We went to bed with aching sides and comments from friends indicated that your type of comedy is deeply appreciated. Keep up the good work!

I saw you in approx. 1981 at the Wellington pub in Swinton at a charity concert and still do an impersonation of your jokes, about getting your haircut round the back and especially the one about skinning the alligator.

 My eyes are filling up just thinking about it. Your one, if not the the greatest comedian of all time (excluding Janette Krankie!) The doctors should prescribe your jokes on the NHS.

I saw you last night at the Golcar lily here in Huddersfield. You were great. it was so nice to see a comedian who knows how to make someone laugh a good old fashioned belly laugh without having to resort to swearing and blaspheming. I chuckled all the way home. My husband took his mum the babysitter home and told her a lot of your jokes.

I won't hesitate to come and see your show again only next time I will bring my son too. He is nearly 10 and would love your act.
