Jimmy Cricket recently met up with a painter who has produced a portrait of him.
The well-known entertainer was due to perform at the Astor Theatre in Deal, Kent, when he was visited in his dressing room before the show by Charlie Chittenden.
Charlie paints portraits of celebrities and famous people and then auctions them off to raise money for the Demelza Hospice Care for Children, which is based in the South-East.
He had created a painting of Jimmy and wanted to pop over to the theatre in Deal to have a picture with the man himself and the portrait. One of the photographs taken of their meeting is now Charlie’s Facebook profile picture (top).
Jimmy said: “I was thrilled to meet Charlie and was impressed with his painting. I hope it will raise a few quid for such a worthy cause.”
